The Cellar
The cellars, which consist of four small rooms and a large open space, were used in various ways.
They were easily reached from the Butler's Pantry. This was important since the wine cellar was the responsibility of the butler.
The cellars were also used as a general storage area. Items used in the house, and things no longer used by the family or staff were stored here.
The four rooms of the cellar contain the following displays: The Wine Cellar; Storage; The Larder; and The Laundry Room.
