Foel Eryr Cairn

Foel Eryr Cairn

This 2.5m high Bronze Age stone cairn stands on a hilltop and was presumably raised to cover a burial site.

A nearby National Park observation beacon points out the different places to be seen from this splendid viewpoint. On a clear day it is possible to see Snowdon and the Dunkery Beacon and, on a very clear day, the Wicklow Mountains.
