Haverfordwest Priory

Priories and Abbeys

There are several priories and abbey's located around Pembrokeshire. The earliest is that of St Dogmael's, which was established as a priory in 1113 and was later given the status of an Abbey.

Further priories of the Order of Tiron were established at Pill near Milford Haven and on Caldey Island.

The other priories within Pembrokeshire were located in Haverfordwest and Monkton near Pembroke.
