There are many religious sites found all around the County.

These range from the grand palaces once occupied by the Bishop's of St David's to the small cliff-side chapel of St Govan's.

For centuries, St David's has been a popular place for pilgrim's and it was once said that two pilgrimages to St David's was equal to one pilgrimage to Rome.

Pembrokeshire has been home to several priories over the years, the ruins of which can still be seen today. There are also two abbey's found in Pembrokeshire, one is located in St Dogmael's and is now ruins, and one is located on Caldey Island and is currently home to monks of the Cistercian Order.
