Sentence Castle

This castle is situated just to the west of Templeton and can be accessed by a public footpath. Sentence consists of a medium sized motte with evidence of a ringwork, with the remains of a deep moat on the north west side.

The exact origins of Sentence castle are unknown, although it is thought to date back to the 12th century.
